It's official.
So today I woke up with my legs covered in bug bites! I don't know what happened! My theory is that I left my pj pants on the floor and some bug got into them and then feasted on my blood all night. Yummy... but man, they're freaking itchy!!
So at work, Darlene and I took all of Saanich Baptist's stuff back. Then I met with Scott, and we made it official. I'm staying. Wow. I still kinda can't believe it... but I know I'll need to simplify my life a bit. I've been running on empty all summer. Can't keep doing that. I have some cool ideas for youth group too... hopefully ones that will work, both crazy fun ideas and ideas that will hopefully promote a bit of spiritual growth.
After work I went to Tom and Yvonne's place. That was fun. Yvonne and I talked about a lot of stuff, both funny and serious. Yvonne also gave me a soft cider, which tastes exactly like the one I had last night but with practically no alcohol. Yay!! Then Tom got home, and it just became a gong show- no end to the joking, of course! We had a good talk about youth events too. We had chili and garlic bread for dinner. Yummmmm!!
After that I went to Adore. I hung out with Kurtis, his friend Chris, and Heather. The worship was RAD! Then we went to BP and hung out but I was dead tired and wanted to go home. Heather and I had to sit in the back seat of Kurtis's car on the way to BP, and that was pretty cozy because of the car seat. So we got all cuddly and she was saying that I was her "wusband". Never heard that expression before! Definitely amusing... anywho, must go sleep now.
